Hi friends, Mayor Gary Manier from Washington, Illinois showed up at our show in Peoria last night with a gift from the people of his town. After that monstrous tornado mowed throw and destroyed much of Washington in 2013, we were part of a group of Illinois bands including Styx, Survivor, Richard Marx, Head East and others who joined forces for a benefit concert which raised $440,000.00 for the rebuilding effort. We talked to some of the families who lost their homes in the storm, and have since successfully rebuilt their houses and their lives. They were all so grateful, and showed their appreciation by presenting us with this honorary key to the city. We feel happy that we could help our Midwest brothers and sisters in their time of need, and humbled by the depth of their gratitude. much love…kc
