Hi friends, as the Tour, with our great buddies Styx, and Don Felder, winds down, we are feeling thankful for the camaraderie we all enjoy when we tour together, and the amazing support of the best fans in rock and roll. We thank each and every one of you, and hope to see you all soon.
REO is playing stronger and tighter than ever these days, so don’t miss us!
We are looking forward to the summer, when we will be sharing the stage with Chicago. It has been four years since we toured with those guys, and we truly miss them. We are lucky to be able to tour with such great bands, who are also cool, down to earth people. This summer will be awesome.
Before the summer tour starts, we will be playing some weekend “evening with” shows. On April 28, we will be in Primm, Nevada, at the Star Of The Desert Arena, at Buffalo Bill’s Hotel and Casino. On that show we will be joined by special guests, ‘Sir, Please’. They are a young, alternative rock band from Thousand Oaks, California, who write their own songs, and already have a track called “Dance With Me” available on iTunes.
If you look very closely at the photo below, you may notice a resemblance between two of the band members, and a certain member of REO Speedwagon, plus another who looks a lot like one of the original members of Heart. Let me just say, there will some proud parents in Primm.
It will be an extra special night, featuring two beautiful surprise guests singing duets with me during the REO set. The night will be a rocking, family affair. If you are in the area on April 28, come out to Buffalo Bill’s…there is a roller coaster which actually runs through the hotel. It is a riot. See you there…kc
