Blog Update (1/24/18)
Hi friends, I am overwhelmed, and so grateful for the outpouring of well wishes and support which so many of you showered upon me. All of your positive energy and prayers must have worked, as my surgery went flawlessly, and I am home from the hospital, healing up and resting comfortably.
My wife Lisa has been right by my side throughout these past few trying weeks, and is taking amazing care of me since I got home. I don’t know where I would be without her. I am feeling a little bit stronger every day…I just hope Lisa doesn’t find out! (see photo below:)
Meanwhile, our manager Tommy Consolo, our agents at CAA, and the various promoters have all been working overtime to reschedule the shows which I had to miss. Some of the new dates have already been announced, and many more are being confirmed over the next few days. We will be getting the information out as soon as the confirmations are in. We appreciate your patience, and hope to see you on the new dates. I guarantee we will be rocking extra hard to make your wait worthwhile.
This little health scare has been a wake up call for me, and has caused me to appreciate the little things, and count my many blessings…one of them being that fact the REO Speedwagon has the coolest and most loyal fans in rock’n roll. Thanks to each and every one of you…much love, kc
