An Update from Kevin at Home

written by REO Speedwagon

Hi friends, hope everyone out there is staying safe, and following the social distancing protocols. To any of you all who are experiencing medical or financial hardship, our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your families. And to those who are working in hospitals, grocery stores, banks, etc…we all appreciate your courage and selflessness. We are all in this thing together, and in taking the best care of ourselves, we take care of one another.

These are the most difficult times, on a global level, that I have ever lived through. But I believe that things are gonna get better. Meanwhile, the band had not seen one another since our show was cancelled in Minnesota almost three weeks ago. The world has been changing quickly since then.

Tour manager Ken hooked us all up with Zoom, and Neal, Bruce, Dave, Bryan, Manager Tommy Consolo, and I were all on our screens together. It was great to see my bearded REO brothers. Who needs to shave when you are stuck in your house!

I will be checking all the Facebook comments during this time, so please share your stories and experiences. We need to all stay safe and strong. We can beat this COVID-19, but only if we all work together, and follow the safety guidelines from our local government officials and medical professionals. Things are gonna get better, take care…kc

ps: In this photo I’m working on this blog, attempting to finish the book, while Xonder the cat is in the background looking longingly out the window, working on hatching an escape plan.
