The Story Behind the Speedwagon

Hi friends, so Neal was a student at University of Illinois, when he came into a class on the History of Transportation. There on the chalk board his professor had written in large letters: REO Speedwagon.

The rest is rock and roll history…until one of our awesome fans shows up at a gig, driving a restored Speedwagon truck. We see all years going back to the early 1900s, and it is always fun. The REO factory was in Lansing, Michigan, and this 1933 model appears to be from that part of the country. REO fans are simply the best…if there is ever a Hall of Fame for fans, ours get in on the first ballot…kc
