Veteran’s Day 2021

written by REO Speedwagon

Hi friends, I am writing this belated post on Veteran’s Day, and in honor of my late Father, and all the other brave young men and women who have served in the military during wartime. My Dad was one of the lucky ones whose only scars were emotional. My condolences to the families who paid a physical price as well, and especially those whose price was the ultimate one.

I am further saddened, actually angered, at our country’s seeming inability to support living Veterans, all of whom at minimum deserve a roof over their head, and to have their continuing medical and psychological expenses covered.

My Dad loved his Daughter-in-law, my beautiful wife Lisa, and she him. Lisa went out of her way, and stopped in for visit at the house in Oak Lawn, after seeing her family in Racine, Wisconsin. You can see the joy in my Father’s eyes. I love this photo.

God bless and save America…kc
