The Great Sam Moore

Hi friends, well last night’s show here at the MGM Grand Arena was a blast, as advertised. As if I weren’t having enough fun, I was brought on stage with an introduction from the original Soul Man, the great Sam Moore. At 87 years of age he sings with such soul and passion. I felt so honored.

All of the guest artists gave impassioned performances. Sammy Hagar did the majority of the heavy lifting, comedian Nikki Glaser was hilarious, Paula Abdul looking elegant got things started, Chad Kroeger of Nickleback, the iconic Alice Cooper, in full Alice regalia, Rick Springfield, looking handsome as ever, John Mayer surprised us with two songs, and hung for Michael McDonald and the finale with all of us out there together on “Takin’ It to the Streets”.

The Ruvo Center For Brain Health surpassed its goals and expectations as donations were in the multi-millions. So the whole night was a great success on all levels.

But as much fun as I had last night, I am more looking forward to this coming year on the road with REO Speedwagon. We are raising the bar, working in songs that you have been asking for, and hoping to see you at our upcoming shows. Much love…kc
